A California native, I live alongside the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

My writing can be found in the Huffington Post, the Times of Israel, the Jewish Journal, the NY Post, Moment Magazine, Script Magazine, Moviemaker Magazine, the Sanskrit Literary Journal, and others. Richard Pike represents me at C&W Literary. I am working on a new book slated for a Fall 2024 release with Hachette.

I have spoken and taught about storytelling techniques at Warner Bros. Studios, West England University in Bristol, Cal Arts Los Angeles, The London Screenwriter's Festival, The Willamette Writer's Conference in Portland, The Tel Aviv Writer's Salon, the Haifa Film Festival, the University de San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador, the Weitzman Institute and the IDC in Herzliya.

I am lucky to share my life with Gidon Lev, and our book, The True Adventures of Gidon Lev, received a starred review in and was one of the Best Books of 2020 in the Kirkus Review.  I also produced the podcast version of The True Adventures. 

​

I am familiar with traditional and independent publishing landscapes and the routes to both; The True Adventures is a fascinating example of an indie-published book crossing over into traditional publishing. It doesn't happen often, but it can be done!

I have volunteered with the Middle East Peace Initiative, Combatants for Peace, Kids for Peace, Amnesty International, and the Afghan Women's Writing Project, to name a few.
